No volcanic ash detected

The latest satelite image of Mount Agung shows no volvanic ash detected. However, Bali Tourism Board urges all to start preparing sufficient stock of face masks in the case of an ashfall.

The best measure to guard against an ashfall is to stay indoors. Yet if it is necessary to go out, then the best protective measure against suspended ash is to wear a face mask.

Recommended usage and model:

If a face mask is not available, then use a wet cloth over the face as a makeshift mask. Contact lenses should be removed to avoid eye abbrassion.

Bali must take precautionary measures so let us all prepare wisely. Thank you.
